Drone services pricing for drone media capture starts at $399.00. We also recover travel costs to and from each location.

First and foremost our aerial photography pricing includes; a thorough review of our clients operations and objectives to ensure we deliver exactly what’s needed. If you aren’t completely satisfied we will reshoot it for free, but this has never happened!

Drone services pricing for each project also includes a thorough risk review, site planning, airspace approvals, equipment preparation, mobilization/demobilization, a highly skilled and qualified advanced operations drone pilot, data management, and sharing. To protect our client we also carry 5 million aviation liability, and 5 million general commercial liability insurance.

We specialize in drone photo and video capture for websites, social media marketing, digital ads, virual tours/interactive media, profiles and case studies, project porfolios and more.

While data collection for inspections is similar to drone media capture, it takes things a step further. Drone inspections require specialized equipment, an experienced pilot, a dedicated visual observer, a fully tested workflow, advanced software, and expert-level knowledge to ensure accurate and reliable results.

Many inspections take place in challenging environments—often near high-value assets—so safety and protection are a top priority. That’s why we carry $5 million in CGL and aviation liability insurance to give our clients peace of mind.

Cost for Operations (a flat fee)
Cost for Processing (charged per acre + any additional costs)

For basic drone mapping projects in rural areas, pricing is around $35 per acre. More complex as-built feature extraction projects typically range from $60 to $80 per acre.

What does Recon aerial need in order to send me quote?

  • the address or map pin for the work location (needed)

How long does it take to get the media or reports?

  • We provide drone photos and videos usually within 24 hours.
  • Inspections and resulting reports take a little longer, 1 to 2 weeks depending on the type of work and complexity.
  • Mapping and surveying deliverables generally within a week.

How does Recon Aerial send us the media?

  • We use different download services but they all generally work the same. You will simply receive an email with the link. Once you select the link your download will start automatically.

Does weather impact Recon Aerial ability to fly?

  • Yes, sometimes. We do not fly in the rain, and sometimes it can be too windy to fly. However, we plan well ahead to minimize any schedule changes.

How much time does Recon aerial need in order to set up the work?

We like to have a week in advance of the work in order to plan the operation properly and discuss all details. Of course, sometimes we’re able to do it within a few days. For work in class F restricted airspace we need a minimum of two weeks to get the required permissions.

What type of payments does Recon aerial accept?

We accept credit card payment, etransfer and cheques.

Do we have to pay up front to initiate the service?

No, we trust you!

What are the payment terms?

Our payment terms are net 30. We encourage our clients to pay promptly to avoid potential interest charges.

Does Recon aerial negotiate on price?

Our prices are fair, but we’re always open to discussions especially in a larger projects.

Can we share the content with our partners or other companies for commercial use?

No unfortunately, the copyright is assigned to the content creator under copyright law. You can use the media as you wish since we extend user rights to you, YOU paid for it. However, if third parties wish to use the media they need to contact us for a quote so that we can extend digital user rights to them.
